I think its just too hard a question really>> I love BFBC2 more at the mo, but i still roll back into R6V2 and COD (any off them) Halo (again all of them even 2) I really miss playing the Starwars battlefronts (i know 3rd person shooter not first but still.. and on this note Gears rocks as well)

Dude i have all 3 consoles and a top spec PC out of all of this i play the 360 more than any other, More game range, online world has so much more depth to it than the others (PC excluded here as thats infinite) personally i prefer the feel of the controller and find it better for FPS games but thats a personal thing,
PSN maybe free as is the Wii online but for £30 a year the support is amazing and online features are great like party chat and selective chat via multi channels (ingame Channel, private chat and party chats) Plus last i read PSN where thinking of charging soon for extraabilities like chat upgrade, im sure i saw some thing on IGN about it but im not too sure. Getting back to the cost of things i have noticed that PSN charges alot more for its little extras Map packs, Gamer pics, Themes etc.. the 360 uses MS points as an attempt to have an international currency, which is good cos you can shop around to find the best rate for MS points making the cost of your map pack a little cheaper, but i did notice that a MW2 pack was about £3 more on the playstation once i worked it all out. seems unfair for the same product. The Blu-Ray is the main reason i got the PS and for ease of networking and use as a media device its much better than the 360, it allows more codecs and finds media easier off your PC (note mine found some er.. Adult videos i had in a hidden folder which then showed up on the menu which made me think thank god the wife aint in!!)

but back to the point in question, given the price of the 360 and the massive game selection not to mention the growing list of exclusive titles where as poor old PS lost a few (Tekken and MGS) but it still has little big (Which i love) and killzone (which is ok) oh and the fall of man thing which sucks so so so bad, The 360 is worth getting even now!

I am having a problem with my modem not giving my 360 an assigned ip address. Becuase my router all of a sudden just quit working I have to plug an ethernet cable into my 360 directly from the modem. While in theory that should have worked, it didn't. I know its not the cable because right now I have the ethernet cable plugged into my computer from the modem and it is giving me Internet. What is the problem here? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Might be cos your 360 is set to auto assign an IP and is giving one outside the range from the modem, if your Modems range is 192.168.100.1 - 100 for example try setting the IP address manually on the 360 within that range, so 192.168.100.10 as this should be far enough out to not mess up any ips already on the network (PC, laptop, iphone etc..) let me know how you get on
