I enjoy all these different articles on composers. It really gives you a sense that people are creating these instead of thinking it was made by just some computer. It brings me closer to the game and feel more personal to the music as well as appreciate the music more.
It depends on what you want really. If you want apple then you'll buy an iPhone and if you want a product from Ninentendo you could buy a wii, or 3DS or whatever you want. Seriously though, no one buys an iPhone or iPod touch for the sole reason of games....
