@stage4saiyan: then you either have a severely underpowered cpu, not enough ram or are not running from an SSD. I have a 8700k, 16GB and a 1080 and get around 80-90 fps when not in Lorville or Levski.

That page will show what you should be getting based on gpu/cpu. Also if you last played before the 3.3 branch they have basically doubled FPS on most systems.

@hrv_25: the mocap was done years ago, they are not casting those actors they are just revealing them ingame for the first time. it's already been paid for out of the 200 million and is actually fulfilling a stretch goal promise.

Maybe do like 5 minutes of research before you open your mouth and put your foot in it.

@Atzenkiller: remember that it's actually split into 2 games not one, the single player Squadron 42 has over half the company focusing on that and they haven't shown much of that as they don't want to spoil the story so the majority of what we've seen is from Star Citizen itself.

@mushywaffle: no being P2P has nothing to do with load times. They are determined by how long it takes to load the art assets from disk and set them up. Networking would have very little if anything to do with that.

@soulfulDAGGER: There's a very good reason why they have only added limited stuff to the PU, and that's because much of the stuff there is placeholder. It makes no sense to work on code that is going to be thrown out when their own custom code is finished. 3.0 is the culmination of the last 2 years of engineering work that was needed to get many of the gameplay elements you say are lacking up and running.

Also anyone who listens to Derek Smart is an idiot. The guy has never been anywhere near a AAA title and can barely get his own games running let alone running well. That's why he has been building the same game for 30 years he is unable to do anything else due to lack of skill.

@caldbunt: Is the game finished yet? then how do you know it will not be delivered? you can say over and over again that it will not be delivered but evidence indicates the opposite.

@dribblesbarbax: because they've been spending the last 2+ years working on delivering those goals maybe. there's no shortage of video's/articles showing the progress if you bother to look for them.
