you know that kid from the christmas story who waited SOOOO long and was such a huge fan of ovaltine and wanted to know the secret message then in the end he finds out its just a advertisement to drink more ovaltine?

this is how i felt..

its like i just watched a ****ing 25 episode show one that i truly loved the charecters, setting, story, etc it actually started to become one of my favorite animes,, then finding out its nothing more then just a giant advertisement.....for a manga.

im so pissed right now at how dumb this is how utter bull **** this is..

what do you guys think of the ending?

fl4tlined

I felt the same way...like 10 years ago lmao.

Really, at least you watched it at a time when more content is being officially produced rather than getting your hopes up for years listening to rumor after rumor.

I see this on a very frequent basis, both at work and in my college. First thing they would say is i was in the army for years and years, i served in blah blah i killed however many people. I never understood what was so great about joining the army that you have to show off and talk smack about how you served 5-10 years.. I mean back in high school I had friends who joined the army because they dropped out as early as Sophomore year. These so called friends got suspended, never did homework, cut school, got 40s on tests, and just overall did a crummy job. They joined the army and now they think they're king of the world according to what they say. Yeah..serving your country is good but what good does it really do for citizens? Ok so say we help south korea fight north korea.....ok so we take over Iraq....what good does it really do other then putting the nation more in debt? I thought being proud and showing off a little is when you goto a prestigious college, GRADUATE, and doing a professional job. I didn't know you're suppose to be proud and a cocky show off when you drop out of high school, kill people over seas, party drink, and then come back to the states acting like you're god. I never had and never will respect military personel especially the ones who are cocky immature show offs. What is your opinion about this?

LegitGamer3212

they pushed you out of the lunch line, didn't they? lol, don't hide it

Never cared for boxing. I understand the sport but it's just easy to cross kickyour opponentright in the knee cap or ankle. Then theycan't fight very well with a fractured or shattered bone in one of their legs. Orfracture or dislocatesomething in one of their arms when they throw it your way. You don't even have to break their knee cap or ankle. If youhit it hard enough they won't be walking well for a few days and may be off of it for a few hours initially.better yet, just break his wrist. Make him hurt himself everytime hepunches you.;)

Boxing just takes way too long, it's a slow takedown that requires a lot of effort. You would have to enjoy hitting people in order todo it.

MagnumPI

if you supposedly 'understand' the sport, then why are you going on about "cross kicking" your opponent or anything outside the rules of the sport?

Rafael Marquez, Juan Manuel Lopez and Miguel Cottowould all have a great chance at beating Pacman and Mayweather because of their pure punching power. I still think Pacquiao was a punk for making Cotto go down in weight to fight him instead of fighting him at 147 and the way he got stronger in the later rounds against a physically bigger fighter suggests that he is indeed taking some kind of steroids. Pacquaio's a great fighter but he's scared to fight any decent bigger fighter (Margarito sucks) or any smaller fighter with great punching power to hurt him (such as JuanMa)

derekjeter2005

lmao, NEGATIVE. Rafa and JuanMa are both too small for starters. Rafa is getting old, shop worn, and isn't as technical as his bro. Pac would beat him up faster than JuanMa did, and Floyd would just be Floyd and outbox Rafa for 12 rounds straight (just ask JMM).

JuanMa too would get a beating because he's shown that he is vulnerable to being rocked (rafa) and knocked down (concepcion). Pac, who's shown to have a damn good chin, would eat him up. Floyd would have a field day and outbox him too.

Cotto already lost to Pac so I don't know why you brought him up. Calling out Pac for being on 'roids' is a large and unproven claim, but i do agree about the fight being bs for being a catchweight. Floyd would probably just do the same thing to cotto as well, outbox him and chop him up with speed.

[QUOTE="grape_of_wrath"][QUOTE="MgamerBD"]Well I never been a collage before. But I have been in college. Flunked out and now going into the Marines to learn a skill and do things which alot of people can only dream about.MgamerBD
I usually hold my peace when it comes to things like this. But i'm going to be a douch, just this one time, and ask, regarding your final statement- like what?

I want to work on million dollar jets, become a proud marine, shoot a few guns(and hopefully not people). I want to take the road less taken...problem?

oh man did your recruiter feed you some BS or what!?

J/K man, I got out last year after spending 5 years in the usmc. If you're headin to the aviation side, i'll answer any questions u might have.

Not sure what all this talk of games being shorter these days. If you use U-Tube and look at the longplay of games of the olde such as stuff on Megadrive, Amiga SNES even going far back as the Spectrum, the time taken to complete the majority of those games is around 2 hours.

Evil_Saluki

This. I get that nostalgia is quite the blinding force, but where does this 'games are too short these days' train of thought come from? I remember plenty of games from the nes/snes/genesis that could be beaten in hrs.

The whole 'games these days are shorter' deal kinda cracks me up. really, as opposed to 'back in the day'? Atari was a biiit before my time, but I remember being 7-8 back in 92-93 and being able to beat games like mega man 2, double dragon, and contra all in a day....
