The 360 though plagued by reliability problems early on,is the console of choice i think.reliability is not an issue now and if your interested in online gaming xbox live is easily the best online service.all the games also come with the achievement system where if you complete a section of game or do something well you unlock the achievement and are awarded some points towards your gamerscore.it sounds pointless but its actually good fun and improves games particularly old games off the arcade a huge amount.The only reason id get a ps3 is for the built in blue ray hd drive.the format looks like its going to win the hd format war.its the reason that makes the ps3 more expensive.its too early to buy a ps3 i think.another 2 years or so and it might well be the format of choice.but for the foreseable future get an xbox360,make sure its the elite version though.it comes with 120g hard drive and hdmi connection.
