@drgribb @Axe_Armor @spenceslivn I play older games much more than modern ones. Serious Sam and Painkiller happen to be some of my favorite games ever. Trust me, I prefer the old over the new. To me, Ducktales is still very fun to play today. The thing is that while I'm not always a fan of the current state of gaming, far from it in fact, there are things we have improved on over the years. Ducktales Remastered is a new release regardless of the fact that it is basically an updated version of a 20+ year old game. If it really is as close to the original game as this review makes it out to be, it has no reason to exist. This paltry amount of content was perfectly ok for 1989, but not 2013. Imagine if this game didn't have the nostalgia factor attached to it. Everyone would be fine with this score.

Regardless of the score, if someone enjoys Ducktales on NES, they should buy this game. I know I am.

@spenceslivn This game came out in 2013 and should be held to modern standards. I adore the original game, but it just doesn't hold up to today's gaming standards. You'd be better off getting the NES cart off eBay.

@shaunmc @Axe_Armor I just don't like when a game already has sequels planned when the first game isn't even released yet. It can either cause a strain to push games out on time or cause development to become lazy if they know a sequel is coming regardless of how well the previous game does.

Then again, I'm cynical as hell so maybe I am over reacting.

"Destiny, is the product of a publishing partnership with Activision that will span 10 years and multiple sequels."

I find it really hard to get past that line. Let's hope Bungie can pull it off. Never was a Halo fan, but this looks interesting.

@adro191 @brainiac1988 I don't see how being upset over the fact that I can't play my SINGLE PLAYER game offline makes us crybabies.

@brainiac1988 Are you being sarcastic or just that willing to bend over for EA?

EA will approve any marriage as long as it has always-online DRM.

@rem234 That kind of thinking turns you into Activision.
