@Printul_Noptii Ok i give you that he had a great vision. But c'mon have you seen any good films directed by him lately? As you and i said he lost his touch. So DE creators can't allow that the whole franchise dies in space because a director who's greatest creation was 30 years ago.
I don't hate JC but i don't particularly dig his directing anymore. The Thing: check. and Holloween: check. But if you're talking about a century 21 A-List director with experience in Sci-Fi survival-horror film and great vision about the atmosphere, the only one i can come up with is Ridley Scott. Besides DE writers have stated that their main inspiration came from Alien. Of course JC criticized the Alien game, although it wasn't the game per se, but the franchise RS has created with Alien. JC has lost his flare and i'm sad to say that. Rmember Ghosts From Mars or whatever? 'nuff said
@Ocard69 Just so you know, thinking about your statement when you say video games being an art form of interactive entertainment, then the developers make the art, we (gamers) enjoy it or hate it, regardless of what the outcome ought to be. I understand sometimes the gaming experience are lacking the wow factor, specially when the ending comes and leaves us hanging. One good example is Halo 2 and how every1 hated it, just because no1 fully understood it. But when H3 came out every1 loved the entire trilogy, forgetting the fact they argued about it b4 that. Understand game developers are artist of the XXI century, they take alot of time and effort making the games hearing our congratulations or arguments towards them. At least all we can do is accept the aftermath and wait for an answer.
I agree with u on that mate, but if its gonna be an RPG, the mechanics and physics for the character has to be somewhat like AC or PoP. For this type of games, they have to be able to jump and be agile, maybe like "I Am Alive", so u can be sure to escape your zombie attackers climbing to a window or a house if your stamina doesn't run low. What do u guys think?
@grbolivar Yeah because in recent games they’ve never been actors or ectresses on any other games b4! pff! So what’s the difference? In Heavy Rain the creators took actors and they even made casting sessions,so i think u could "get the message” that in every game creators take actors, just for their voice alone or in this case they take their faces as well, like in Alan Wake.
I’m not complaining or anything like it, but i have to take this out of my bloody chest! I’ve loved DS since the get go, sadly i’m not loving the direction Visceral is going with this, not because of the co-op, not for the daylight settings and not even for the Lost in Space type of story, but what i really don’t like is that they are going toward an action pased game instead of the survival horror sci-fi game we all know and love for so long! I just wanna beg Visceral please, dont screw the only horror game that has saved the genre in its entirety. Instead of a horror game u guys will make DS into an error game that will not even see the light of the sun!
