Is it worth getting the elite for an extra 50 pounds? Is there less chance of the RROD?TheRippersBlade

It doesnt really matter if you get the RROD, M$ will pay for the repairs the first three years.
I would get the elite if i had the cash, you get a HDMI (if you have a HD-tv its really worth it) and a 100 gb hard drive so you dont need to worry about running out of space!

I'm planning on getting one earlly next year, for Halo 3, Oblivion, Tony Hawk and for MSN, ohyeah, I have media center also, so I want it for media too.

So do you recommend one? I'm not getting a elite and not a core, any good games?

Msn: i dont really know anything about having msn on your xbox360 but my friends says it is really annoying to have when you play games, andthereis really nopoint of getting it withoutgetting the keyboard as well.

Media center: i only used media center to download a picture for my background that i really liked. you are better off with a good PC that can play music and videos.

The games: i wouldnt really recomend getting xbox360 for only those games, halo3 is going to be epic, Oblivion is actually OK if you like looking at loading screens a lot, otherwise it is a good game overall and i got around160 gaming hours in totalout of it.havent tried tony hawk. I would recommend that you looked at Mass Effect (another RPG game, is going to be one of the best), Brothers in arms: hell's highway(WW2FPS) and Assasin's Creed (not sure what it is, but it is going to be a good game!)

Here in holland they said that it would take no more than 14 workdays and then you would have it on your doorstep, but appearently they received a lot of xbox360's at the period and it took around 30 days :/

i would say Company of Heroes, Starcraft and Medieval 2 total war... but Company of heroes is Teh best RTS game ever :)
