Funny thing is; violent crimes are at a lower rate now then they were before videogames even existed. Look it up.
Heh. Typical humanity, can't hold anybody accountable for their actions, just have to blame it on something else. Videogames just happen to be the current scapegoat.
In the 20's it was Jazz music.
In the 50's is was TV.
In the 60's it was Rock n' Roll. And so on, and so forth.
I like how there's been so many studies, and none of them have ever yielded any conclusive evidence that videogames cause violent, or aggressive behavior, yet they seem to keep forgetting about that. In fact, crime rates are actually lower now than when videogames didn't even exist.
But yet and still, ignorant people with power will still keep instigating these bills and such, and feed the ignorant masses with what they want to hear. Rinse, repeat.
All it is is just a modern day witch hunt. People love dem' pitchforks and torches.
@shoam_96 That's why I also own a PS3 and 360. It's unfortunate, but I don't trust Rockstar's PC ports anyways. Max Payne 3 has been the only decent one as of late.
@miser_cz No, it's the other way around. Stealth can boil down to trial and error, and it's not fun to have to go back 20 minutes if you accidentally mess up, or some inhuman guard magically sees you. Plus you can't just mess around and try different things.
