@atopp399: Remastering those is likely significantly more work, both look outrageously dated. Even the remastered SC still looks pretty damn old. If a WC gets a remaster, I would expect it to be WC3.

@gameroutlawzz: With this news, I would be very surprised if we don't see WC3 or D2 getting remastered in the near future. I think they just chose SC:BW in an attempt to revive the esport, with SC2 on the decline and all.

@davillain-: They would be foolish not to. Remasters of those games with improved machmaking (for WC3) and support (remastered D2 without the bots/dupes? Erect) would just print money for Blizzard, and they could easily charge $60 per game. I would buy both in a heartbeat.

Big ME fan? Just buy it, its more Mass Effect and you'll enjoy it for what it is.

Not that much of a fan? Don't bother, the flaws will be grating and you'll wish you bought HZD/Nioh/Nier/Zelda/etc.

Personally I'm enjoying it, quite happy with my purchase. I'm also a big ME fan.

@ditronus: Overwatch is a terrible example. Overwatch is a multiplayer only team shooter, it has zero story because it needs zero story. Narrative driven or open world single player game? I expect some kind of story or world building, something needs to be done to keep me immersed.

CoD - actually had solid campaigns in MW2 and before

DS - the lore of Dark Souls is surprisingly deep, it has a decent story depending on how you approach it

Diablo - D3s story was god awful, and it hurt the game immensely IMO. D2 and D1 actually had very good, albeit simple, stories
