@wookiegr: These characters have been gay in their respective comic books for quite some time now. Also, if you would direct your attention to this line; "Gay Star News notes that Lego Avengers does not explicitly say that the two are a couple." It isn't referenced in the game. Being gay is just a part of each character's backstory, if you are familiar with the characters, you are familiar with the fact that they are gay. It is quite different also comparing a game developer making their character completely naked rather than implementing a popular character into a game that has an established history.

EDIT: Sorry, that seemed to post randomly for some reason. I'll finish by stating that they aren't making Lego gay. The characters have always been gay. It's just part of their character backstory and romance subplot.
