Ignoring the FTP model for a second, the game is also always online. That disc will be useless as a Collector when the servers aren't up. Although, I can see the inevitable story 25 years from now when some industrious community hosts their own Fortnite server for Collectors.
Having just watched episode 4 last night, I'll say that some of the scenes were very Jurassic Park-esque in their execution: The creature stalking around outside as one of the characters was trapped in a storage tent for example - evoked memories of the raptors stalking the kids in the kitchen in the original JP.
But how does Netflix know that people are loving it? The thumbs up button? Completion rates? Not exactly the best metrics to go by. I mean, the thumbs up button encompasses everyone from "meh, it was alright" to "that was awesome!" I liked it but that's not to say I wouldn't also probably agree with the complaints from critics.
