Does someone have an idea where I could bring this question up?

Roll down until the english texts and you see why it needs some attention.

BTW, I recommend to watch the Fire and Ice document about Winter War, if you are interested in any way of the subject.

AND the postings; I have been active reading about games and stuff on the website. If it isn't suppose to give levels, then I don't know how I got them :D

I just haven't had any business in forums, until now.

Oh, and it was not fair in the sense that it was taken and kept with wrongfull arguments and there was that thing too, that only the borders moved, the the right to those lands. Atleast According to international laws or so I have been told. I have been searching the articla about it, but have not found anything yet. :| Accept a notation about Articla 17. or something like that and can't remember where I saw it and what did it exactly say :D And that is something that should not happen when trying to prove a point ^^

Yes, it was taken but at a high price and with breaking the non-aggression treaty plaiming Finland of opening Artillery fire in place where Finnish artillery could not even reach :D Anyhoo, it was not easy for russians either you know. Finland lost around 25 000 soldiers when russia lost over 250 000. Hence the saying here; 1 finn equals to ten russians. So by the numbers, it was not so easy for them either ^^

But back to the point, heres a link about the debate thats going on about returning Karelia to Finland; http://virtual.finland.fi/netcomm/news/showarticle.asp?intNWSAID=25907#deba

Luckily, nobody shot anyone. Atleast yet ;)

I merely seek people with sense of justice and will to help realise it. By signing thi plea, you are helping us to make our government more active about it and meaby put some pressure to russian government, so that they would give back those lands they have kept to this day from their rightfull nations.

It is mostly written in finnish but contains brief explanation (and links to sites with more info in english) on how to sign it. Everyone who are willing to help make it a reality will have our sincerest thanks.
