There are many advantages in Tabletop than Video games and vice versa.

However, I prefer to spend a little more time playing tabletop games with friends than a round in CG: GO for example. It's just more, as johnny said it, intimate.

Plus, all the noisy kids from generic board games (monopoly, game of Life, etc.) are migrating to video games, leaving tabletop a place for real civilized group of people to enjoy themselves without having to worry that someone might creep upstairs to "bang your mother".

What i'm worried is when they use this tech on humans. May seem unlikely, but judging by past histories...anything's possible.

MKUltra all over again ppl...

Well, there you go again Carolyn. Oh when will the double standard that coexist with gender ever cease? When women start to grow a pair.

But it is her opinion though, and all butthurt aside...it was a good review.

OK honestly, why are the women at Gamespot so hung up about this? Why is it that Gamespot is unable to let this gender thing go? Carolyn might just begin an unnecessary war between innocent male & female gamers (who all they want is to just play video games rather than getting into the politics) with her very misleading article. I understand she's concern for her gender representation but please GROW UP and stop blaming everything on the men.

While it is true that FEAR makes the gaming industry so anxious about putting on a female lead, it's usually because women make it so. Take a look at Tomb Raider. Everything was good until a short stupid cutscene that seemingly condones rape came up and lit a fire under every womens ass. This is mainly because whenever you put up or try to put up a strong female character, there's always a group of "shadowy" women behind the scenes that will pick out every flaw and bash the male community for 'misguided interpretation of womanhood'.

Also, because it is easier to blame the men.

Dead Space 3 is a good game IMO. Just like what Shaun said in his review...but its the fact that EA is shoving their crappy post-launch DLC concept is what kills it for me and most gamers out there.

I'm seriously thinking of getting this! I've always loved the Sly series. I would just like to know though, Tom, do you think that the future Sly games will be better than the last? Like I got your point in this review that Sly 4 is good, but it doesn't do anything new. So do you think there will be something new for us in the near future?

Kinda of a...desperate move by the developers if you ask me. Based on 3 reasons:

1.) In an attempt to get more money.

2.) In an attempt to get attention.

3.) To re-imagine the death of an individual that was one known to America as a 'Hero' for helping the US fend of the Russians.

But anywho...this game will most prolly have similar sale figures as their previous game...which isn't much.
