The story of Tales of Symphonia is much much superior to Eternal Sonata. And I would say the gameplay is actually a little better in ToS, the skiills are more interesting and combos as well.

Hmmm it was a pretty good game, i mean Assault was alright, but I really liked Adventures, despite my friend and i making fun of the last scene constantly.

"And now...to destroy the LYLATT SYSTEM!!!!"

haha....................................................................>_> yah, inside joke lol.

I purchased the game thinking that I could enjoy it, even if I enjoyed it just the half I enjoyed Phantasia it would be great! But the voiceacting was dreadfull, the movements were soooooo robotic, everything was so artificial... and on top of that the most important thing (for me), the story was boring to death... I didn't finish disc 1 yet and I'm trying to make an effor and fishish the game but it's hard to choose between finishing tales of symphonia and been eaten alive by flesh-eating-worms.kosomot

I dunno, the voice acting wasnt bad at all, obviously you havn't played Baten Kaitos. The movements were fine, not bad at all for a game that came out in 2003. As for the story, I agree it could possibly seem bring seeing as how it's a lot like previous RPG storylines, but it was unique in it's own way. :/

Super Smash Bros Melee defined Gamecube. But not in a good way. Let the mass sucking of SSBM define just how terrible the Gamecube would be.monkeytoes61

There's not any other statement you could possibly come up with that could make you seem any less credible in this topic.

Personally I loved it because it was a new style of Mario that hadn't been done before, I mean sure the basic "Select a task in a level" factor was still around, but the overall idea and input of the game itself was pretty innovative and I throughly enjoyed it :)

[QUOTE="KatanaMaster_17"]Tales of Symphonia = Fun at first, then it gets really boring halfway through.Funkyhamster

I disagree. Once you get past all the prerequisite stuff, sure there's a period where you can basically just fly around and do whatever you want, finish up some side quests. But the game only gets better from then on, the story gets WAY more interesting, and just overall a richer experience. 31st Playthrough and I'm still not sick of it.

I completely agree... and yeah, ToS and ToP have certain plot ties that Yodas_Boy posted... you should probably put spoilers around that though.

That's true, that probably would've been a good idea.
