about 3rd party controllers: probably. but remember they are all wireless now, so you'll be going through batteries quite a bit, and my experience with third party controllers are that they just arent as good as 1st party, no matter what gimmicks and goodies they have tacked on. I think the tilt technology is just a silly addition. the Wii will be awesome to play, because thats what the controllers main function is. you'll be constantly thinking about and using the controller in a 3D way, but tilting a dualshock while using it like we normally do when we play games? eh, i dont see it working- i see it being hard to use and confusing, like bill gates said in that interview. I move my playstation controller around all the time when i play games, so they cant just "add it" into gameplay without really thinking about how it will effect things. -im sure they will, but i dont wanna go from holding it like a normal controller to holding it like a frisbee all the time. non-intutive! i dont know, just seems like a stupid one up they did because Wii has been shown to be so successful. you KNOW that if Wii bombed and totally stunk up the gaming scene, the ps3 would have a rumble pak in it and NO tilt sensor. period. they might not have copied nintendo, but they are sure riding big N's coat-tails, like everyone else does in the industry, for better or worse. proves that sony is reaching hard for that "i can do anything and everything" title for the ps3. :/ i dont know now many people still have confidence in them anymore. :x
