@malokevi Possibly, yes. Halo needs to get not just more unique enemy types, but like you said, more fluid movements and attacks. They also need to create way more interesting environments. I myself am tired of the same urban city, desert, earth like forest, snow, and same old Forerunner remnants. Bring in some truly alien worlds. No need to stick with the same type of biomes/enviroments all the time. They are in a sci-fi universe after all.
@sonyfreak456 Sadly, I never played R&C, but I suppose so. Although, You could make the argument that many franchises are dying and loosing their way. Some stay the same way forever and stagnate, while others try to gather more audiences, but alienate their older fans. Like Resident Evil for example.
@VenomousOne You're right. It doesn't make any sense. His armor should be just fine against the sand and elements. Or if he's trying to hide his identity, then shouldn't he just like, take off the suit?
To be honest I do like Halo, however I just don't have any excitement for this new one whatsoever. Not only do we have Destiny to look forward to, but what more can you do with Halo? The fourth was an ok game. Not terrible or great, just average. The story was short, they killed off yet another character, and they added a few new guns that really just felt like re-skinned older ones. The Mantis/mech was cool, but they took out so many other vehicles. There's not much to add for a fifth game.
Who the hell is he going to fight anyway? More Prometheans? *yawn*. They were an alright enemy, but nothing special, and fighting them got old fast. I'm tired of seeing the Covenant as well. Great enemies sure, yet after 4 games I'm sick of seeing them. Halo is stuck in this weird state that if you change too much it ceases to be Halo, but if you change too little, then it's no longer any more important than the plethora of other shooters out there. I just want this one to be the last Halo. Just move on already.
