@stickemup: I wouldn't say that's the "only" way they could've used "seen". They can use "seen" if both speakers are familiar with the language being used and the context in which an utterance is said. For example you already know what is supposed to be there, as you've clearly indicated, and I'm sure other English speakers do as well. Since the commenter knows what's supposed to be there and readers know what's supposed to be there there's really no need for it to be there/said, especially in casual conversations.

An example would be, if someone asks you "Where did you go?". Although it can vary depending on the degree of casualness of the conversation and familiarity between the speakers, all these would be acceptable responses.

"Went to the bank and to grab a bite to eat."

"The bank and to grab a bite to eat."

"I went to the bank and to grab a bite to eat."

If you were writing something for school or maybe presenting something (which are more formal) it would require more prescriptive language use, so you would definitely want to use the prescriptively acceptable ("I went to the bank and to grab a bite to eat.")

Since you clearly can't understand how sentences work in the context they're presented in let me fill ya in chief cause I'm just that nice. The included mention of heavily modded Fallout and Skyrim have nothing to do with a conversation on modded games. They were mentioned cause there a lot of mods that adds a lot of additional strain to running those games (such as new high poly meshes, 4K and even unnecessary but fun 8K texture replacers and a bunch of new scripted mechanics) and even then my rig was consistently playing those games, adding to the point you completely missed or chose to ignore by bringing some other pointless argument about modding.

Not to mention after Black Ops 2 all the CoD games were pretty bad (some people may have liked some of them but they definitely dropped off). Modern Warfare was a great return to form, had great a player population, and I never had trouble finding games and never played against a hacker (again must be the luckiest PC gamer alive). All that and that's with crossplay off and let me tell ya crossplay (which all CoDs look like they will all have moving forward )completely makes your population argument pointless.

Of course you must be my bank, my wallet, or better yet me too know what I spent on all the consoles compared to my PC hardware. Again with this, repeat after me now, just cause of my experience doesn't mean everyone elses is the same. Let me tell ya you were clearly do something wrong if you were that into PC gaming 3-4 years ago. If you were as into PC gaming as you claim you would've made sure to future proof your rig for more than a two year lifespan (which more than likely would have saved you money since you wouldn't have had to replace your GPU so frequently). Oh and thanks for yet again starting a completely irrelevant point about software in this hardware conversation and apparently closing it yourself by making it "a moot point".

For the rest of it you made it no fun :/. These are all legitimate complaints you have against PC gaming based on your experiences, plus you're not generalizing the problems to everyone elses experiences (except for the "this is also why PC gaming sucks" but what are we gonna do). In my experience both on my PS4 PRO and my PC, HDR quality is dependent on different things the TV/Monitor, the game itself, and even the lighting in my room throughout the day. HDR on some games at least in my opinion didn't change it drastically so my focus has been on resolution and frames.

I gotta tell ya chief I've been a console gamer (and still very much am) for years if ya didn't notice by my history of consoles which actually goes further back with PS2 and PS1. Shit I play on a 4K HDR TV with a controller cause I got it with my PS4 PRO and I aint spending money I don't need to on a 4K monitor since my TV works great at 4K 60. But having said that there is no way I'm denying the fact that PC gaming is better if you want high resolutions with high frames (which was Carzy_Sahara's main point). I'm also not going to discourage someone from trying PC gaming cause of my own experiences like you chief. So maybe follow your own "Enjoy your stuff and I will too." mentality and not discourage people from PC gaming.

I can only assume you stopped reading after reading that sentence and completely ignored the fact that, that sentence was only targeted to people truly looking to play games at peak visual fidelity without compromise and not for people buying the next gen consoles. He clearly says these console upgrades are easily one of the best for console gaming.

Now for what you contributed, clearly you have no experience in PC gaming cause he's not wrong that if you want consistent super high resolution and high frame rates, PCs are the way to go. My build as it stands can play games such as a heavily modded fallout 4, a heavily modded Skyrim SE, Destiny 2, and Monster Hunter World at 4K 60 all at virtually max settings (I have to drop a fog setting by one for Monster Hunter). If I choose to drop to 2K I would easily be able to play Destiny 2 at 120 FPS, that's what I was playing Modern Warfare at with ray-tracing on which is better than what the PS5 and Xbox Series X are capable of. Not to mention additional settings such FoV sliders which I'm so glad they're adding to the PS5 and Xbox Series X version of D2. Let me tell ya chief my build was under 1500 and thats with me splurging some saved money on a 1 TB NvME SSD.

If we're talking price then I've easily spent the nearly the same amount of money if not more having bought two PS3s (long life span on that gen of consoles), a PS4, a PS4 Pro, and an Xbox 360 and none of those could even dream of reaching my PCs performance and that's only if talking about games.

Again, clearly uncharted territory for you but PCs not only have great performance in games but are still (and stay with me now) are still PCs. So not only can PCs outperform the consoles guess what, they are a PC which a vast majority of people will buy/own anyway since it's become essentially a staple in industrial societies for work/productivity and general entertainment.

As for the vast amount of hackers maybe I'm just the luckiest bastard alive but I've encountered 2 whole hackers in my 2-3 years of gaming on PC and both were in casual control games in D2.

@WingZero0782: According to the way the laws work in regards to profiting off others work and products, yes there should be some kind of licensing going on between streaming platforms and developers/publishers. Having said that you're literally crying like a damn child all over this comment section with "Ohh they get free shit but I don't, screw them".

As a university student being drained of my already limited funds, if I want some new game or console I have to put in that extra work to afford them but even then I'm not gonna cry to the world cause some damn randy got something for free while I didn't. I could care less what other people get/have cause I'm happy with what I have, what I save up for, and overall where I'm going.

Even if you want somehow tie streamers/youtubers getting things while you don't into the debate at hand, then you fail there. Odds are really high that they got the product for free because they built up a big enough audience either due to their personality and or overall skill that some developer took notice and jumped on that bandwagon for some publicity. In other words, chances are super high they got the product for free since they were/are essentially being sponsored to do so, meaning the category of streamer/youtuber you're crying about doesn't even apply to the streamers/youtubers the debate is about (e.g. youtubers/streamers just profiting off others work without any form of consent to do so.)

@zander80: Easily the most obnoxious since it assumes you know someone with a copy of the game that you have access to.

But I would probably give dumbest/most ridiculous evolution mechanic to flipping your DS to evolve inkay into malamar when it reaches Lvl.30. It's even worse since they kept it on the switch so as far as I know you cant evolve inkay while your switch is docked. Plus it feels more goofy flipping the switch than the DS.

I think people are still becoming fans because both the card games and video games have done something that most other games have been unable to do and that is being fun for both casual and serious gamers. On the surface level both the card/video games are so simple that anyone can jump right in and have fun. However for people who go deeper you find that they can be far more strategic and competitive.

@masutomo: Then you would be more than welcome to continue using LFG as usual but as for others they have the option of using the matchmaking if they wanted to. It's not like them adding optional matchmaking would erase the lfg sights from existence.
