This looks like the most improved game this gen. I can't stand open world games but this looks great. I'll definitely be picking this up for my 360 on day one.

What the hell? Well where the heck are all the xbox games? This sucks.
...is lacking big time. There are a few gems in there but most of it is hype never met. Especially Uncharted and Killzone. The evolution of exclusives is pretty funny around here. It used to be graphics, then free online, then finally to exclusives because at the end of the day it's the ONLY thing PS3 fans can argue about. Sad.

Same here. Rockstar Games is foolish to allow game developers like Team Bondi and R* North to put together large maps for their games when most of that space is unnecessary. At least 2K Czech knew this when it worked on Mafia 2. You could just as easily include a few miles with every interior explorable and something to do in any part of the game, which would seem more fun than having a huge world that had so much potential but ended up shallow and repetitive.
And it not being open-world, or MP-/co-op-enabled is the primary reason why I am not getting this game. Plus, the advertising is so annoying.
the only reason i can think of why they made the world so big, is to make the missions/cases diverse but well we are going to find about next week!
