Definately 3

If you look at all three games without expansion packs alone, then 3 has everything the first 2 games has, but executed better, and a lot extra. The things I have complained most about in the first 2 games has been fixed in the 3rd game: Open living world

If you take all games with their expansion packs, then there's only very few things from 1 and 2 that I miss, like animals. But the last expansion pack to 3 adds an interesting take on jobs. Instead of the normal working hours, there's now jobs where you can decide when you want to work. It's interesting to have the architect job, where you can redesign other peoples houses (considering that one of the reasons why I like the sims, it's because of building/designing houses)

Also 3 has a lot more options on how to design houses. I like how you can design your own texture on pretty much everything

IMHO 3 beats 1+3 easily... only problem with 3 is that it sometimes has a problem saving, so save often

Gameplay and SP ofcourse

I don't care about MP. The type of game I'm playing takes at least days to finish (like Civilization)... a lot of the games doesn't even have an enemy AI (like RollerCoaster Tycoon)

I prefer to build up my own story over the time of the game. If an RPG game had a dynamic world, where I'm the one building the story, that would be great (of course it should also be non-fantasy). Some times I do play adventure games, but even there story is not important

For FPS games graphics is a bit important, but that's because most of the times (rarely) when I play FPS, I play them to see how advanced graphics is getting. I'm not much into FPS. But currently I'm playing old games, so graphics is not even close to being important in other types of games

Favorite:

TBS

Least favorite:

RPG... actually I really like RPG games in theory, but I really HATE fantasy, which means that 99% of RPG games are killing the genre... if it wasn't because of all these fantasy RPG games, then RPG's would probably be my second favorite

What? You must hate things that make games great man. iPutty

You don't seriously mean that bad guns, boring enemies and being unkillable is what makes games great?

Here's the top worst games that comes to my mind (for different genres):

Dreamfall (The longest journey sequel) - The game had no puzzles (which has 1st priority for adventure games), the main character was so annoying and it had an extremely bad ending (I don't mind that it's not a happy ending, but the ending makes one feel as if all the work one just did had zero effect at all)

Bioshock - How they managed to combine all the features, I have hated in all other FPS games, into one game is impressive. The game contains the worst weapons I have ever seen and the most boring maps I have ever seen. It contains magic (throwing fire and ice from ones hands is boring) and the worst kind of enemies in FPS games (boring, ugly, slow and stupid zombies that you can easily kill just using close combat weapons) and on top of it all, you can't die

SimCity Societies - The game that completely killed the SimCity name. So many problems with this game, that it would take too long to mention all the problems

Lol @ the Mortal Kombat 2 comparison. You're comparing a shallow, unimpressive fighter to one of the best fighting games of this generation.KHAndAnime

Yeah I know, but this is about SF4, so I had to include the shallow, unimpressive SF4 in the comparison. If I didn't include it, I would go off topic

EDIT: Something is seriously wrong here with this forum software, it keeps killing the first quote: "Are you serious? The graphics are some of the best. The characters are beautifully animated and show great attention to detail and art direction"

I've seen 5-10 year old games that made the transition better. To be hornest I'm actually having a hard time remembering having seen games of any genre that made the transition to 3D any worse than this (with the exception of those extremely cheaply made tycoon games)

[QUOTE="pilouuuu2004"]There's even more story now and more dialogues according to the characters pilouuuu2004

I have a hard time finding the story, though I have only finished the game for a few of the characters (none of the new characters)

Mortal Kombat Vs DC was quite a failure and I don't care too much for Tekkenpilouuuu2004

I have never played MK VS DC. I have only played MK1, MK2 and MK4... MK2 is IMHO the best, still much better than this new street fighter

They should release a new MK game for the PC, I would buy it on release date

have you played any street fighter before , if so , you must love this game ( if you are a street fighter gamer ) i think all SF gamers agree with me .

faysal_ha

Yeah, played SF2 a lot back in the days (also tried SF2 Turbo a few times... I believe that was what it was called), but as soon as I got my hands on Mortal Kombat 2 for my Amiga, I stopped playing SF2

Hello I play Rise of Nations and i have a problem ! I play the campaing of Rise of nations but i dont know how to win my enemies ! I mean,i have to destroy all the buildings(stables, barracks e.t.c.) to take him out or just the city !? Plz reply me soon !Dimarass

That depends on what mission on what campaign you're playing

In the Conquer the World campaign there are several types of missions (but everytime you start a mission it tells you exactly what to do)

Some missions requires you to kill x of the enemies units, while other missions requires you to protect your own city until time runs out. But most of the missions requires you to take over the capital of the enemy within 90 minutes

Not at all

Graphics is ugly (specially character graphics)

Only few different fighting-options for each character

The new characters are boring

The old characters are worse than in SF2

The menu is way too console'ish

Everytime it tells you to press something, it tells you what to press if you have a gamepad (so if you're using a keyboard you have to guess what to press and most of the time they key doesn't make any sense... sometimes you have to press ESC to go back other times you have to press B)

Who you are fighting against doesn't make sense (e.g. Guile's mission is to find Blanka... the first person to fight is... Blanka... wow)

I would definately prefer Mortal Kombat or Tekken to be released on PC
