You know everyone has a price that makes sense to them. I didn't buy the Xbox storage because I didn't feel
I needed it yet and bought the cheaper SSD for my non SX games.
But, I bought the Samsung Q80T as a upgrade for the Xbox series X to have all the bells and whistles. So, we all have our priorities and what makes sense.
Because comparing console to PC is not a fair comparison. PS5 "off the shelf " memory is not working yet with the PS5. So there may be something different in the way storage works with PC than consoles. That's why I brought up PS5. Because how can you say the Xbox storage is "at least $60 more than I should be " when you have nothing equal to compare it to? It is not a PC.
I think the price is fair . I got my Samsung 870 EVO SSD 1tb drive for $120 on sale and that is without the adapter($ 15 total $135) for my XSX and you think Xbox's a much faster 1tb drive should only cost $25 more ($160)? Please explain.
6 months after launch PS5 still has no option you can buy for their "Non - proprietary " hi speed storage.
So, why is the hi speed storage that you can buy since launch for Xbox is worst than the "off the shelf" storage you can't even buy for the PS5, that no one even knows the price of over 6 months later with no release date?
