Yeah that happened to me before on consoles too, and I tried that, and that didn't do anything.
I think it might be something to do with how the controller is detected... is there any way to ovveride the mapping other than through xpadder ?
Alright, this is a problem I've had ever since I got my controller ( Logitech Dual Action )
In many games, when the controller is plugged in, once I get to the menu, it just keeps scrolling down through the menu as if I am pressing down on the d-pad or one of the sticks, when in fact, I am not. Looking at the calibration for it in control panel, everything seems fine, with everything centered. With Xpadder, everything seems fine. However, ingame, no dice.
Until now it hasn't really been an issue, as this would occur in games like crysis, where I really didn't want to use a controller in the first place.
However, right now I'm having this issue with Saint's Row 2, and I really want to use my controller for this game.
Does anyone know a fix for this never-ending problem ?
