Actually i didn't buy it but a friend of mine bought it when he went to Russia ( i insisted he bought it for me since the game hasn't a worldwide release). Anyway you can find it on Ebay.
The game is totaly awsome!!! With the help of a few guys who managed to change from Russian to English the game is now playable to everyone. It's a mix of FPS/ RPG and space simulation and i must say that those elements are very well implemented. And the graphics are nice... Has anyone heard of it or played it before? Do you know any similar games?
I thought about these 2 titles but I'm not sure if they were canceled... Most likely duke nukem forever will be developed by Gearbox under the title Duke begins... as for Episode three i assume that the development was halted but will continue as soon as Valve finishes work on Portal 2
I wrote this topic from a PC at work... since many sites are blocked ( including this one) i used a free proxy server to gain access to my profile, but i couldn't use all the features. As soon as i get home and with the help of some spare time, i will include not only screenshots but also some videos. I saw that film a few days ago... wish i could play that beta!
I couldn't put all the games that were canceled... so i put only those that i was tracking. Anyway i checked that game you've just mentioned: looks like an interesting IP but what a bumpy development this game has!
BTW, i forgot to mention Turok 2... The development of the sequel was canceled at begining of 2009. Here is the official story i found on kotaku website: ''Disney is the latest in a long list of companies planning to pare down its workforce, with cuts and consolidations affecting Disney Interactive Studios. Layoffs are said to have already hit Turok developer Propaganda. Sources tell us that Vancouver based Propaganda Games is in the process of laying off approximately 70 employees. That reduction in workforce is likely closely tied to the cancellation of Turok 2, a title never officially announced by Disney, but one of two projects that Propaganda was working on, we're told. Propaganda's second project, which sources opted not to define, is still actively in development. According to one employee at a DIS subsidiary, the parent company is also planning to consolidate a handful of its studios, including Avalanche Software and the Fall Line studio. Both development houses are responsible for creating games based on Disney properties such as Chicken Little, Hannah Montana and The Chronicles of Narnia. Both studios are located in Salt Lake City, Utah. Disney is planning to eliminate jobs outside of its video games business as well, with Reuters reporting that job cuts will hit television networks ABC and ESPN. In addition to all of these changes, we have also determined that Directors and above will not be receiving merit increases this year. I tried to gloogle it... all i found were some unconfirmed rumours. If they wanted to make a sequel, they would have let us know by now... anyway i'll try and see if i can find something else.
