Can't remember the name of it, but i think it was the first abandoned research facility you visited in S.T.A.L.K.E.R. Damn, that place creeped me out ever more than the Ocean Hotel (Think that was the name of it) area in Vampire the Masquerade: Bloodlines.

P.S: I've had Thief: Deadly Shadows since just after it was released, but never played it much since it was damn choppy on my old computer. I guess i should give it another try on my new, beefed up rig.

It appears that getting myself a new rig for 12,000 kronor (1700 dollars) wasn't a waste.

No matter how fast your connection is, it's as stated, you can't download any faster than the upload of the one your downloading from. So to make an exaggerated example. If i, with my 10Mbit connection was to try downloading from someone on a 56k modem, my speed would still suck.

Well, i've got a similiar setup as yours, but the main difference seems to be in our OS. If you haven't read it elsewhere, i might inform you that S.T.A.L.K.E.R doesn't support Vista. They've announced working on a patch for that however.

I'm using a Logitech G5 myself. Works great, and you can instantly switch the sensetivity of the mouse between three different modes, preset at 400 dpi (Slow), 800 dpi (Standard) and 2000 dpi (Super Fast). You can customize those however you wish between 400 and 2000 dpi though. Using it together with a 4D Steelpad, and that combo works great.

Oh, and not to forget the weights. They did wonders for me, once i found a combination that suits me perfectly. They say the mouse has been developed together with pro gamers, and it's noticable.

I've spent about 30 hours or so in the game, and i've cleared the storyline (Got the ending when you actually find out everything.). I've already given it an 8.8. If you want details, read my review of the game. Well, i'm already on my second time through, and i'm still in love with it.
