A lot of people don't seem to know of, much less heard of, Primal. It's a pretty good game, with large environments, interesting combat system, great voice acting and story, with some good plot twists along the way. The dialogue consists of a good balance of humor and seriousness, as does the game itself. All of the "species" forms are pretty fun to play, although the Undine one can be pretty annoying sometimes. The only thing that really got me frustrated was getting lost as to what I was supposed to do, which didn't happen often. Once for each world, it seems. But it turned out I didn't pay attention enough. So do that and you're guaranteed not to get lost.
The downsides are that it's not altogether difficult action-wise, and there's not a lot of action unless you breeze through the puzzle-ish things.
