Nothing more to say really, if you don't like it, take a look at the release date :) Try to appreciate it for what it is. For people like me who very much enjoy just creating random mayhem, like the people that have spent 5 times as much of the time they used on the story line on Grand theft auto just going about doing random stuff, well.... Then this is the game for you :D
