FUN! - For 10 minutes -
BETTER THAN: Chocobo's Dungeon 2
WORSE THAN: Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Blue Rescue Team.
The game starts with the player being asked random questions which defines which Pokemon you will be. Then, you can choose a partner. Throughout the game you will go through dungeons, trying to complete missions. You will encounter different Pokemon, and sometimes you can even recruit them onto your team. Sounds fun! No, its not fun. The game is SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOo repetitive. You will find yourself doing the exact same thing over and over. Recruit Pokemon is not even very fun, they barely do anything for you once they join your team.
As I said in my Deck, the game lasts for about 10 minutes. You will quickly become bored and will stop playing. The game is also difficult because you cannot evolve your Pokemon until you have completely finshed the game, which means your guys are WAY weaker than the "Rayquza."
I am not going to rate this game high and I recommend that you should NOT waste your money on the DS version, the GBA version is exactly the same (basically) so just get that cheaper and play it on your DS...

GAMEPLAY: 5
The gameplay is fairly shocking and makes you feel like you are playing a board game. There are only two ways to attack, meaning that the game really plays itself. The story line is fairly strong though...
GRAPHICS: 7
The graphics are good for the GBA and I suppose they would be better on the DS, however the Pokemon sprites are really bad and could be much better.
SOUND: 6
The sound is annoying and it would have been better to keep it at the classic pokemon sounds.
VALUE: 5
This game is not worth over $AU30. The story line is poor and you won't get hooked like some do on original pokemon games.
OVERALL/AVERAGE: 6
The above scores average to a 5.75, so I will round it up to a 6. I have explained my reasons for this fairly low score, so don't complain.
