Hey, some of us are veterans!

For the returning vets, I think this is a nice game to play. When Blue Version and Red Version came out, it hit us like nothing before. Leaf Green and Fire Red bring back the good times with classic game play. When the names actually made sense. This game is pretty similar to the originals except for the islands at the end of the game. which are in my opinion, pretty cool. The game was way to easy to beat though. Maybe because of past experience playing. The graphics are very nice considering it's on a hand held system. It's nice to be able to see a clear Venasaur, instead of the bulging, pixelated madness that was brought to our eyes in Blue and Red. Most gamers were expecting a green version to come out; I guess this is as close as we get to one. Over game play is very nice. I'd give it a 10. It's easy to understand, even a Kindergarten could play it. I beat Blue Version in Kindergarten, yes I'm not in my early teens. But these games are addicting. I've listened to college kids talked about how much they loved the game, and how the wish they had a copy of a Pokemon game. Well the Pokemon company is going well so those who wish to play.......well, they can. I enjoyed the game greatly. Most things that are in Blue and Red, are in Leaf Green and Fire Red. For example, the guy on route 1 that gives you a potion sample in the original versions, is still there on route 1 in the new version. Mewtwo is still there. I'm not sure if the MEW glitch still works. But whatever, it's still a great game. Same goes with all the other versions. In fact I was playing Sapphire before I started to write this review. Hoped this helped. I've played over 5000 hours of this stuff, so I think I know what I'm dealing with. Anybody that wants to play should, because it's worth your time playing this.
