This game is good for people who own Diamond or Pearl, but not for everyone else.

User Rating: 6.5 | Pokemon Battle Revolution WII
It's time for the Pokemon Battle Revolution Review. For the Wii.

Wow. This is my first review in a while. And this game was not in the list of future reviews. I was just playing this, and decided to review it.

So, this game is the first Pokemon game for the Wii. It's based on battling, hence the name Battle Revolution.

You get a choice of a Custom Pass or a Rental Pass. You can only get a Custom Pass if you have Diamond or Pearl. I own Pearl, so I was able to transfer my beastly Pokemon. I have a Lvl. 100 Swampert, a Zapdos, Kyogre, Groudon, Lugia, Ho-Oh, and Giratina.(I got Lugia and Ho-Oh from a promotion at Nintendo World for my Pokemon Emerald, then ported them over to Pearl with Pal Park) You will be able to transfer all of your Pokemon in your boxes. If you don't have either game, you get a choice of two Rental Passes. One has retro Pokemon, one has new.

If you've never played a Pokemon game before, here is how it works. Pokemon is a turned based battle game. There is strategy to the battles. Each Pokemon has a different type, such as Water, Fire, Rock, Ground, Bug, Grass, etc. Each move has a different type as well. Each Pokemon is weak to different types, as well as strong against them, and some moves have no effect at all. Some Pokemon have dual types, so that can help or hinder you(for example, an Electric type can deal tons of damage to a Water-Flying type)

Each place has different rules. One place only allows Rental Passes, which at the end of each battle, you can trade a Pokemon. One makes you battle one Pokemon at a time. One makes you spin a wheel to determine what you get. Another one doesn't let you heal unless you get lucky.

The graphics are great. Everything is detailed and colorful, and the attacks look pretty cool.

The controls are perfect, but.....it's only a point and click game so that means nothing.

You can also battle online. You can battle random people or your friends if you have friend codes. After you battle someone, you can get a copy of their Pokemon and they can get a copy of yours if they agree.

If you have two DS's with Diamond and Pearl, or Pearl and Pearl, etc. you can connect them both to the Wii and battle on the big screen. You can use the DS as a controller, so if you're doing an epic battle, you can have it on your TV and people can watch that instead of crowding around your DS.

Pokemon Battle Revolution is a game only for people with Diamond and Pearl. If you don't have it.....you may not enjoy it. The battles can get repititous and you won't have the best Pokemon if you have a Rental Pass, but you can get Friend Passes and save them to your Wiimote which lets you take it to your friend's Wii so you can get new Pokemon. That makes up for it....kinda. The final score for this game is with Diamond/Pearl.

This game gets a 6.5 out of 10 with the title of Fair.
