Playstation All-Stars Battle Royale for the Sony Playstation 3 is a take on 4-player fighting series which include Playstation's mascots and some 3rd parties characters duke it kind of like Nintendo's version. The gameplay in Playstation All-Stars Battle Royale is very different and very difficult to master and some character have the advantage over others, either long range attack and short range attacks, but some character could keep on spamming the same combos in which they don't slow down a bit that will give them easy level 3 supers, while other characters are just thrown in for recent success in their respected game could hard fight at all, while multiplayer have some basic like changing the mode and items, but still require you to use supers to defeat the opponent, in some fighting game is usually you take damage until your defeated in which heighten the pressure to panic. The graphics of Playstation All-Stars Battle Royale is decent for the stage but very plain to some characters, in which some of the game they represent is more detailed and the stage and the background are some what very detail and while other has other game as hazards. The sound in Playstation All-Stars Battle Royale is a mix all game license by Playstation, the starts out good and then it get awkward after it, while the voice acting is decent. Overall, Playstation All-Stars Battle Royale is not for someone, who have high hope of playing very similar to other 4-player fighting series cause do to the lack of getting K.O. very fast that add pressure to it and the lack of chain combo for most of it's rosters make the game very unenjoyably, either it's player versus player or player versus the ai on higher difficulty, in which very like the some of the character the ai will be spamming just to get into the supers it's best thing for that character.
Gameplay: 3- Very slow pace and very hard to chain combos, no ring outs deaths, very limited multiplayer options.
Graphics: 5- Good models but plain textures on characters.
Sound: 4- Mix soundtrack and decent to hardly understandable voice acting.
Value: 2- Requires online pass when borrowing and very annoying pop-up, if you decide not to go into like "How to play" and without a online pass, it keeps telling you to buy one, even if you don't want to.
