Fun, innovative, addicting.

User Rating: 9 | PixelJunk Eden PS3
Finally, a pixeljunk game I like. Seriously, they have really outdone themselves with this one.

Pixeljunk Eden puts you in control of a creature that has only one goal, and that is to make his garden grow. You do this by swinging from plant to plant and killing enemies, the enemies release pollen, as you catch the pollen it starts to make its way towards seeds. You jump on the seeds and make the plants grow, as they grow you can venture higher and higher in the level. You also have the task of collecting spectras, these are needed to make your garden grow, and open new levels.

Gameplay 10/10
There is quite a bit of stuff to collect on PJE, and that's not including the trophies. You have 50 spectra to collect over 10 levels that will keep you playing for hours on end. Not to mention that you have remote play which will allow you to play the game on you PSP, you have an option of a 3 player co-op mode, and with an online leaderboard... Seriously, get this game.

Graphics 10/10
The game in HD looks absolutely amazing, You really couldn't ask for more.

Sound 7/10
The music is ambient and techno-ish, still... mediocre at best, and yes I know there is over 100 minutes of original music, that doesn't make it good music. But it does fit the game well I suppose.

[Gripes]
The music wasn't all that great. With the new updates to the PS3, they should have allowed custom soundtracks. But my biggest issue is with the trophies. 1 silver and the rest bronze? This wouldn't be so bad if some of the bronze were not hard to get, but when have me get a bronze trophy for getting a 10x combo, then another bronze for a 15x combo, that doesn't make any sense.

[The last word]
All in all the game is only 9.99, it comes with trophies, it looks beautiful, and it has tons of replayability.
