This was a very special game on the Amiga in a sense that there just weren't that many games about pirates around. Also the gameplay is kinda special. The game takes place in the Caribbean. You have to sail a lot around there and as such the game came with a map where you could see all the towns. I got a copy of the map later on, but i knew people who simply didn't need the map and stll know where they were and where they were sailing. Not me, the coasts and towns all looked the same. The game was all about naval battles and plundering and then dividing the plunder. There also was a sidequest where you went looking for lost relatives around the Caribbean. I can imagine there is some appeal in this, but i found it got boring pretty quickly. Just like the PC remake from a couple of years ago.
