User Rating: 9.5 | Pikmin GC
Pikmin is new adventure for gamers young and old to play.

Story- In this real-time strategy you are Captain Olimar, and you are driving your rocket through space, riding home. Then a meteor smashes into your ship, and makes you crash on a planet. Luckily, you live in one piece, but your ship is completely destroyed and all the parts of it are scattered all across the planet! And your oxygen tank only lasts 30 days(It doesn't go by real life times, but the games is 30 days long.)While searching around, Olimar discovers a small red ship like object. He calls it a ''onion''. Then it exerts a seed, a few seconds later, it sprouts and Olimar picks it. It is a strange red creature, who likes Olimar and sees him as a father figure. Olimar names these creatures ''pikmin'' after his favorite carrots. He figures out that the onion makes more pikmin out of certain objects like flowers and dead enemies. And they use it as a ship to follow Captain Olimar, which they later find a engine for him to use to drive a couple of miles to new locations. (And Captain Olimar is too big to fit in the pikmin's ship, so he can't use it to escape.) These Pikmin are the only help you have to survive from dieing.

Pikmin- Pikmin come in three colors, red, yellow, and blue. You later discover yellow and blue once you advance. And each pikmin had there own special creative abilities. You use them to, kill enemies, carry ship parts, and kill bosses. You always have to make sure you make plenty of pikmin or else you want have any help!

Graphics- The graphics are cute, colorful, and just amazing. The backgrounds don't look like a billboard, and the characters don't look blocky or cheap. The graphics are good.

Difficulty- Just because it looks cute, doesn't mean it is a kiddie game. There are many puzzles and enemies to fight to get parts of your ship, this may frustrate even older gamers.

Bad- The only bad is that there is not much replay value, you may play the first or second level again, but after that the game is not that interesting.

Overall, Pikmin is a good game anyone in your family can enjoy. With it's cute graphics, to it's difficult levels Pikmin is a good game I would recommend to anyone to try out. So if you see this game on GC or Wii I would buy it and you will not regret it.
