PIKMIN 2 The first thing i must say is that unfortanetly this game adds to the whole "Nintendo is a kiddy company" theory but fortanetly, like other Nintendo "kiddy" games- this looks childish but is in reality a blast of fun! Graphicly, the game is great! i really couldn't find any flaws or any glitches. It may not take it to the next level but its perfect. Sound is fine! From the rustle of your Pikmin passing a plant to your Pikmins humming a tune whilst they follow you. What really surprised me was the value! The big N' listened to a lot of complaints that the first Pikmin was too short so they made sure to pack this sequal with a lot of goodies and long gameplay. Youve got a 30 hour single player campaign then theres the 2 player mode and theres this quirky "challange" mode as well. Value is a definite PERFECT Gameplay is where its a little bit dusty. Sadly, the game gets extrememly predictable... you go into caves and more caves all to find treasures so you can pay off your boss's debt. After a while, you really start to hate the caves... a little variety would have been nice Also, since this game was made for the younger player in mind, I was surprised at how difficult it was! There were many times I was very frustrated and had to stop playing and get something else to entertain me. There are some games that can grab the player and make him play hours on end. Pikmin 2 wasn't one of them. Maybe it's because I'm older then the audience it was generated for but Pikmin 2 I had to take breaks in between playing and even look up on the internet how to beat this freaken boss!! All-in-all Pikmin 2 is exactly what it looks like, a childish yet fun adventure. So if your one of those gamers who believe that Nintendo is a kiddy company than maybe you should pass this up and go play some GTA and give this game to your nephew... If not... Then bring out the popcorn and buy this game!
