Fantastic Story and great Combat makes this game a main reason to have a VITA.

User Rating: 9.5 | Persona 4: The Golden VITA
We all know the VITA was struggling to get great games to boost it's sales, or some needed "That" game that makes us say: "I need a VITA just for that game". Just as Halo: Combat Evolved was the reason to have an Xbox, I can say that Persona 4 Golden IS the reason to have a Vita.

So, let's talk about all the great things this game has :)

(One thing to note before I continue, This is my first Persona Game I've ever played. After this one, I bought P3P on my Vita to play it, and I never played SMT: P4)

Don't worry there will be NO SPOILERS, I'll keep the story elements as brief as possible.

You must be wondering right now, "So what's so special about P4G, that makes it a must own for the Vita?" Well, I can honestly say, it's mostly everything about it! From the great, addicting combat, to the Fantastic Story.

This Game is about, you. You are a 17-18 Year old guy who goes to live to a rural town because your parents are working overseas. Just when you arrive to Inaba, you go live with your Uncle, and your adorable little Cousin. You'll start a new life in this town, but you will soon learn that there is a rumor about a Midnight Channel, it's supposed to appear on a rainy night with a TV turned off, and all by yourself. You learn that some strange murders are actually connected to these strange appearances. So, you along with your new friends decide to investigate and put an end to this "Killer's" plans. As it turns out, you can go INSIDE the TV and you face these "Shadows", and to fight these shadows, you will use your "Persona". These Personas are like Demons that fight at your side, making the combat far more enjoyable than any other RPG I've Played.

You still with me?? Sorry if I made it long, but it's just awesome!! XD

Ok, so to keep everything short, the story, and the combat weave together perfectly in this game. By hanging out with friends, you and your friends, become powerful, making it a real interesting way to level up, other than just leveling up by combat. Which makes it great, because finding out what's each friend's story is just a great experience and you will come to love them. Speaking of love, you can also start a relationship with a girl of your choice, if you work hard, and socialize with her. and this adds up a new "spice" into the already great story. There is also, a garden to tend, fishing, reading books to increase your stats, your school tests, and more! You're practically looking at around 50-70 hours of Gameplay. Ohh, and if you've heard that this game is very hard, don't worry, you can always start at an easy, or Very Easy Level, so that you get to know the game, enjoy the story, and of course later on, start a new game + mode and crank up the difficulty.

Now, to the bad stuff (Wait... There's bad stuff?? O.o)

Unfortunately, as you discover the story by yourself, you'll notice that sometimes the game doesn't explain much on how to develop your stats, or on where to look for clues next or some other stuff. Maybe to some veterans, this won't be an issue, but to noobs (Like me), this might be a problem. When I wanted to ask a girl her cellphone number, I couldn't do it directly, because I don't have enough courage, or I couldn't speak to a man, because my understanding is to low. This can really be frustrating, especially if you are trying to build a relationship with a girl you like. And how do I build up those stats? The game barely tells you, so you have to find out by yourself. And also when looking for clues with people, it doesn't give you hints at who to speak, or at what day to find him/her to talk to. All of this might be frustrating and might have you cursing yourself, or retreating to a previous save just to restart again, because you missed some details.

But other than that, this is a great game. :)

Final Verdict:
If you made it this far by reading, I want to say thanks! XD Sorry for writing so much, but this has been an awesome experience, I just had to share with you. If you've had doubts on whether to buy this game or not, I can Definitely say YES. If your not a fan of JRPGs, I really suggest you give it a try, I think this game deserves it, and if you are a fan of rpgs in general, this is a game for you.

So, do yourself a favor, and buy this Game. You will not regret it.
