Addictive wargame with deep strategy.

I had been looking forward to this release since it was first announced, having waited patiently through a couple release date delays as well. I am not disappointed. This is an immersive game which simulates WWII campaigns while giving you control of a wide variety of different units to try in your army. I will have to admit that this game would try the patience of anyone who doesn't already like strategy wargames or historical simulations. The difficulty level of the AI is not exactly easy either. As other users have remarked in their reviews, the interface itself takes some getting used to, but the dozen or so training or tutorial sessions do a great job of helping you do this. I am now in the midst of the Axis campaign and I didn't ever have to refer to the game manual (because of how good the tutorials were). So if you enjoyed other DS games such as Advance Wars or Age of Empires Kings, or if you just like historically-based strategy games, I'd highly suggest you try out this one.
