Albatross18, also known as Pangya, is not only a very fun and polished game, it's also free! It doesn't require a high end pc to play either. You can download and play it for free, however you are given the option of purchasing "cookies", which is a special in-game currency that allows you to buy special items, gear, and even characters. These special items that can only be bought with cookies have the best stats available to players, however you do not need them to become good or build a great character. "Pang" is the other in-game currency you earn by pulling off good shots, playing well in games and tournaments, and sometimes just by being lucky. Pang allows you to purchase items as well as improve your stats and gear. There are a few modes of play in Albatross18, and they are all fun. Family mode lets you play the game with your family and friends on one computer, offline. Versus mode let's you play with anyone, you can start or join games with your friends, guild members, or just anyone at all. Tournament mode is like Versus only everyone plays through in tournament style, everyone plays through without waiting for their turn, and whoever has the best score when everyone is done wins trophies. Play stats are tracked and recorded in every mode except Family mode, and you can look at other people's history to see how well they have played and look at their best scores.

There are many courses to play, all ranging from not just scenery but to difficulty as well. The game receives patches every week and they add content to the game often. There are also many special events held in the game appropriate to the time of year. Bustling community in this game for sure.

Aside from just trying to hit the ball as far and straight as you can, you can also put front and backspin on the ball which effects the trajectory as well as the landing. You can also put curve on the ball. Then there are the special shots which take some practice to get good at but are extremely useful. You can do powerspin shots that add a large amount of spin to your shots after they hit the ground.

Leveling up in the game is only important for being able to use better gear. Your level doesn't effect your character in any other way. But better gear means better stats! You earn xp in games, Versus mode is best for this.

A great golf game which is freely available and easy to pick up. Definitely recommend.
