One of the most famous videogames characters is back and better than ever
On Ghost Island there are six different sections that have different themes, pirate, ruins, space, funhouse, factory, and Toc-Man's mansion; each of which have a friend in one of the levels. To save his family he has to find the key that opens the cages his family are in. Pac-Man also collects fruits the opens doors some of which can help him get the key he's looking for.
Each of the sections has a boss that goes along with the section's theme. The pirate boss is a ship that launches cannon balls at you and to defeat him you have to bounce on platforms that release a target and if a cannonball hits a target the ball bounces off of it and hits the ship.
The ruins boss is an idol that launches obstacles at you including tornadoes, fireballs, and energy beams To defeat him you have rev roll on the 4 platforms that open the idol's hands and then you charge into the idol's heart. (This is the hardest boss)
The space boss is a big alien head with 4 eyes and while you're fighting him you on a small ship that shoots lasers and you have shoot and destroy his 4 eyes. But before you can get close enough to shoot his eyes, you have to avoid the lasers and shoot the aliens he shoots out of his mouth first.
The funhouse boss is a race with 15 clowns who are trying to push you off the track and leave bombs for you crash into so you'll a health wedge and speed. To beat this boss you just have to win the race.
The factory boss is a robot that kicks metal crates and sometimes wooden crates at you and you have to bounce on the wooden crates and get the metal suit which makes you invincible and bounce on 4 heat switches and then bounce on the 5th one to makes gears fall on top of the robot. But there are also 3 rotating magnets above Pac-man and when you're under one while in the metal suit it will grab you and you won't fall off until you lose the metal suit and get back to normal, but the switches may come back up after the magnets set you free.
The last boss is Toc-man who fights you by using the same moves Pac-man has but are more powerful. You beat him by also performing those moves by throwing the pac-dots that left behind after he threw a big one at you. Bounce on switches that cause Toc-man to move to the center of the arena and then you bounce on his head. And he'll rev roll all of the place trying to push you out of the arena, but after he's done rolling he'll become dizzy then you roll into him. The member of Pac-man's family also help you out by giving you health if loose any.
There are also mazes that you can find in each level and after you've found all of them you can play the maze marathon and after you finish that there are gags from all of short clips in the game. You can even play the original Pac-Man game as well. This is a great game, so if you have a ps1 then you should try to find and buy this game.
