I love this game. How can you not love minions??

I don't understand the 7.5 rating. This is one of my top ten favorite games. The game is funny, the NPCs are funny, cleaver and very well crafted. The minions are full of visceral appear and very satisfying to launch into a frenzy of pillaging. Pillaging for pillaging's sake... how can you not love a game that is this fun to just mess around with?

The levels are all very much different in feel, tone and style and are still well tied together. My only minor complaint is that the final climax "level" wasn't very satisfying. The punchline seemed poorly correlated with the main character and rest of the story. I mean, I get it and all, it's just that, and I'm trying not to be a spoiler here, the finale as a story item seemed good, the "antagonist" was just a little lame....

  Overlord could have been brilliant, but the overt streamlining and the lack of a map system drags it down.
