The first Overlord game was a treat. It was a novelty on the market. You're bad and you want to become evil. The second Overlord game has the same old recipe, but sadly it's not as good as the previous one. You have your four types of minions (upgradable), you have the plot (destroy the rotten Empire) and become the ruler of the world.
You have different parts of the world to visit and accomplish different quests. You can buy new items (forge them). You have humour to help you through. Sadly for me the game has flaws and at times can become repetitive. You can't save wherever you'd want to and that will make you replay huge parts of the game.
You die a lot and at times it can be difficult to progress. The final battle is a really difficult one. Upgrade all you can for it will become tough.
I could not beat Solaris because it's too difficult.
