As soon as I got home and I popped in this game, I knew I was in for a ride. As you know, the poor Gamecube is reaching the end of it's life cycle, and very few games are on its release. Its all about the Wii now it seems. But dont count out the little cube out yet! This game, called One Piece Grand Adventure is based on the popular anime series of the same name. Its about Luffy and his pirate crew having adventures as pirates and reaching high to fufill there dreams. As you cant, I really enjoy the series a lot. But we must talk about the game yes?

The games has 2 main modes: Grand Adventure and Grand Battle. Grand Adventure is the newest addition from the original game, as its a very beefed up story mode with different story lines, 5 to be exact. (Luffy,Buggy,Crocodile,Chaser and Ussop, which is a free for all story line)
During Grand adventure you can customize your pirate crew by leveling them up to upgrade stats and such. Almost every mission has a bonus objective, which can push you to limit! Completing these bonus objectives are necessary to gain 100% pass rating in Story mode!

Grand Battle is the classic battle mode from the last game, with some added modes. Grand Battle is the most basic mode, a Grand Battle between players! With over 20+ fighters and even more support fighters, its gonna be an unlimited expriance. After that we got the Arena Mode which is a mini arcade mode, which you get to raise the ranking of your fighter. Theres also Tournament And Training modes which are self explanatory. We also have Special Game mode with various Mini games and Co-op battles.

This game features a bunch of unlockables, such as sound test, Trading cards, treasures and character voices and hidden battle techniques (such as Zolo's "Flaming" Oni Giri")

I'll say this right now. This game is a definite must buy for fans of the series, and I should say rent or maybe buy for non-fans. It all still depends on taste I say. I hope this review was helpful on you choice. :)
