Wow! that's what I call an unexpected surprise. :-)
I heard a lot of things about Okami.
They are all true. I thought this would be a dull game about some dog doing heroic stuff.
But.....IT"S A GODlike game ;-)
Indeed, you play a dog, well it's a wolf. It's an ancient god. You have to find certain techniques so you can conquer evil.
The most neat trick in the game is the use of these techniques. You have to paint them :-) haven't seen that before!!!
The graphics are sure good (they are cell-shaded, like Zelda, windwaker) but I like the okami cell's nicer, they are a bit more "mature".
the only flaw I could find out is that at a certain point the story is a bit repetitive. But otherwise the story is refreshing.
