Of Orcs and Men may look stunning, but once you begin to actually play the game, you'll be disappointed. I began the game and thought it looked great. The cinematic in the beginning caused me to be bored almost immediately.

I began to care less and less about the world I was about to dive into, and then finally the game started. The graphics looked great... and yet another forced sequence with more orcs where they talk about nonsense that you don't understand yet.

So finally, I get to move around and play, and the tutorials started... once I hit my first enemy, which is a training session with a green buddy, I was sorely disappointed.

Not only is the game not a free moving 3rd person action game, but it plays like simplified version of Knights of the Old Republic. Now, I understand people LOVE that game. I never understood why. Nothing breaks up the game's flow and action like having everything pause so you can choose from an action wheel where you pick the types of attacks you'll be dishing out automatically from your choices.

I immediately wrote the game off as boring and a waste of time. This could have been great if it was just a normal 3rd person shooter/RPG. Instead, they've taken all the fun out of it by making it just another snoozefest where you can hit the same button over and over in battle and sit back and watch.

I'm sure no one is going to agree with this unless you see the value in what the game could have been. I don't know why anyone likes these kinds of games, but to each his own.
