The most beautiful world Ive ever had the priveledge to visit
The Bad:

This game, at least for me, is exremely challenging. I've died countless times, which can be extremely frustrating. I love a challenge but this is a little too much. However, Its that much more satisfying when you eventually slay that boss. THere are also times when you faces huge numbers of foes, hen this happens the frame rate drops to very annoying levels, Its truly a shame, but you just have to pull through it, I promise you the game is worth it.
The Excellent:

THis game is absolutely beautiful in so many ways. THe graphics are absolutely phenominal, I am blown away every time I play. Both the Stunning character designs and the enchanting backgrounds, really create a rich and captivting world.
The music is perfect for this game. Its equally beautiful as the visuals, and works well to create both an exciting and relaxing vibe. I could listen to the music all day.
The combat is also very well done. It combines the classic side crawler fighting style with complex rpg elements. The psypher system was very unique. One thing about the combat is that it can become button mashing, and is hard to master. However it is still loads of fun.
The characters and story are what really elevate this game to the level of masterpeice. Each character has their own unique personality and sees the events unfold in different ways. While on your journey you will truly learn to care about each chracte and their struggles. THe dialogue is rich and eloquent perfectl displaying the beauty of the game. And the story is very interesting. THe ability to see the plot unfold through different perspectives is brilliant, and all the peices really come together at the end. I also loved the ending, it was very satisfyng.
Odin Sphere is not for everyone. However it is so unique and rich that you really ought to giveit a shot. It was a true joy to experience.
