I expected little and was still disappointed
The graphics have that Katamari style of cute but not technically impressive graphics, the graphics fit the style of the game so don't expect Crysis or Killzone 2 caliber visuals. Also, there isn't really much going on and the backgrounds are pretty bland. Overall the visuals are more of a filler and a boring one at that.
The music is the best thing this game has going for it. It's very catchy and stays true to the Katamari style of offbeat pop tunes. The sound effects are also exactly what you'd expect from this kind of game but f it, reviewing sound effects is pointless.
The replay value is non existent unless you still find the game fun after an hour. Than congrats cause you made it farther than I did.
Noby Noby Boy's controls are supposed to be weird but they are just annoying and get in the way. There are a lot of questionable gameplay and control decisions and I think the developers used the excuse of the game being so weird to ignore these problems.
Overall Noby Noby Boy isn't that good. I probably didn't see everything the game offered, but I assure you, it can't be that much. Some may dig the style, I personally loved Katamari and I keep comparing Noby Noby Boy to it so maybe that's why I didn't enjoy it. It's only $4.99 but there is no plot, no goal, so the only real reason to play is to see what it's all about (you'll find out within minutes) and for trophies I guess.
So.......probably don't download this one unless you have $5 to spare.
