This Game's Going To Get You, Barbara.

User Rating: 8 | No More Room in Hell PC

First thoughts after watching the trailer, my reaction was: Questionable…

I thought it was just another generic zombie survival game. Although, the trailer itself was interesting, had a nice story-vibe going for it, but being a multiplayer game, I thought it was no better than DayZ, or other Zombie games on the market, but actually I found NMRiH to be good enough to compete with them. It’s a really good game, especially for a Half-Life mod! NMRiH has the qualities of a stand-alone title you actually pay for, but without the pricey mess being pay-to-win, it makes playing this game infinitely enjoyable.

Overall: 8.5- This game’s going to get you, Barbara.

Story: N/A

It’s just your standard zombie apocalypse situation, being strictly multiplayer, there’s no story to be found here, other than what the environment has to offer.

Gameplay: 8

I don’t play many zombie titles, aside from Left 4 Dead, Dead island, and Dead Trigger 2. Mostly, because there are too many linear zombie titles, with few exceptions. I assure you, No More Room In Hell is anything but. There are many paths to an objective, and items are at different locations and possibly may not be there at all within each play through. NMRiH tries to set realism in place, meaning when you get bitten, you are infected, and will be forced to die any minute…

Although, the gameplay does have a slight game-killer. Zombies may sometimes grab on to you when you are past them, zombies can infect you by slapping the tip of your toe, and melee weapons are a doozy to get headshots with, since it’s hard at aiming. Although, all these flaws are minor and probably will take only a couple minutes of complaining before you’re back in the game killing more zombies.

Graphics: 8

It’s the same old Source engine, it could look really bad and work on old computers, it could look really good and work on great computers. There’s really not much to say about the graphics in this game, all I can say that the Source engine is still great.

Music: 8

The music is very sorrow and makes you feel alone, it impacts you the way it’s meant to. It’s a survival horror, and it gets the job done.

Uniqueness: 6

It’s a zombie game, so it’s something we have all seen before, and still are seeing today very frequently. Nonetheless, it’s definitely better than others, and it will count.
