Great concept, no my cup of tea

It seems No Man's Sky went through some tough times since it's original launch up until now - I didn't accompany this process since I acquired it very recently, however I can praise the studio since it seems they have done a terrific job on improving the game which had high expectations from the start, and most importantly, all the new content have been free for players.

With that being said, I realized that still this is not the type of game for me. It's ground breaking in many ways, the space exploration experience is fantastic, going from planet to planet gives you a sense of freedom on your gameplay, you can take off and land on a whole new environment with no load screen time, I have to admit that is indeed a cool feeling. The design of the game is amazing as well and this new approach where the game universe generates automatically it's own massive environment is no small feat.

But that's about it... The major down side for me is there is no actual interesting plot, I mean there is something that you can kind of call a plot but it's not only very confusing but also very boring to follow, I lost my interest very early on.
Furthermore, being a survival game (which I didn't experience before) is definitely not something I enjoy, the fact that you constantly required to refine, build, refuel among other actions to just make it through basic activities like take off becomes very repetitive and frustrating - even with all the possible features you can add to your ship to reduce the amount of times you need to do this, it still takes the fun out of it

If survival is your genre I would give it a try if not I wouldn't waste much time, this is a cartoonish space exploration simulator with some cool features along the way
