This game is...well bizarre. I think I enjoyed playing it? I don't even really know. My husband made fun of me while I was playing it because when you attack, red dots fly out and hit enemies. Not sure why. The story had potential but it just felt like a weird Japanese anime which isn't really my style. I love JRPGS, don't get me wrong but as I said this one was just over the top.
There are some really neat boss battles and the game is quite difficult with some puzzle elements thrown in. I really enjoyed the music. The ending seemed like something dreamed up by someone on a bad trip, but I mean your guide throughout the game is a magic book so what do you expect?
