Don't waste your hard-earned money on this garbage of a game! You can have my copy because I'm just using it as a coaster anyways. The gameplay is so slow that it makes it feel like your lagging even when you're not playing online. The passing is horrible and you can't complete a simple pass because the puck doesn't go anywhere near where you aimed to pass it(plus the players don't seem to want the puck anyways), the AI is terrible as all of the computer-controlled players are completely useless(they stand at the side of the net instead of in front of it in the offensive zone and they stand in the corner instead of in front of your net in the defensive zone), the skating is brutal as the players don't seem to know how to stop and start or turn sharply like you have to do 1000 times in every game in real hockey, it feels like your fighting with your players to try to make them turn the way you want them to, and the list goes on and on with the same gameplay issues as earlier versions except they've managed to create even more issues with the gameplay. Even after creating my own custom settings to try to make it more realistic and more like "real hockey" it simply is an absolutely horrible game and not fun to play at all....more frustrating than anything! These are supposed to be NHL players in the game but they play as if they are 5-year olds who can't skate or take a pass, or make a pass, or know where to go or what to do, etc... Another big disappointment and the last NHL game I will every get suckered into buying. I've been playing the NHL series for the past 25 years and this is by far the worst NHL game I've every played! Shame on you EA Sports for putting out such an awful game and slapping the NHL name on it.
