Best hockey game of all time!
First of all, the graphics are very good. Arena's look good and the crowd is pretty realistic looking. The colours are sharp and accurate to real life jerseys. The only thing I didn't like, was player models could have been better. I find a lot of players don't look anything like their real life counterparts. Which considering how realistic some players look. I would have liked if they put that kind of effort into all the players.
From a gameplay standpoint. I think this game is extremely well done. Probably the best and most realistic hockey sim that I ever have played. Which for me, makes it the best hockey game I have ever played. From the contact plays like the hitting, fighting, board play and after the whistle roughing. To the saucer passes, snap/wrist/slap shots, and the dekes are also very well done good. I really like how if a player injures his jaw, he puts on a guard and continues playing.
At the end of the day. A lot people just play games for fun. And on top of being realistic. This game is still very fun and addictive. So if you like hockey at all. Then you should love this game. And I would recommend it to any fan.
